A FACT WORTH litsowurn.—A gentleman of Pero
fulons habit from indiscretion in his younger days,
became affected with tlicerations in the Throat and
Nose, and a disagreeable and troublesome eruPtion
of the Skin: Indeed, his whole system bore the
marks of being saturated with disease. One hand
and wrist were so mudi affected that he had lost the
use of the hand, every part being covered with deep,
painfuland offensive ulcers, and were as bellow and
pores as a honey-comb. It was at - this stage of his
coMplaint, when death aepeared inevitable from a
loathsome disease, that he commenced the use of
Jayne's Alterative, and having taken sixteen bottles,
is now perfectly cured.
The Alterative operates through the circulation,
and purifies the blood and eradicates disease from
the system, wherever located, and the nurnelous
cures it has performed in diseases of the skin, can
cer, scorfula, gout, liver complaint, dyspepsia,. and
other chronic diseases, is truly astonishing.—Spirit

Letter from the Rev. R. Caldwell, Pastor .qf lde
Presbyterian Church, Pulaski.
Messrs. Hendershott and Stretch.: .Gestlemee l4
take pleasure in adding my testimony;in favor of the
excellent preparation called Di. Paamart's Omur'
Haut Casa*—for, about two. years ago; my - baie
' was very dry,.brittly, and disposed to come outMM.
having procured a . bottle of the credal, and need it
according to the prescription, it is now soft; elastic, ,
and firm to the head; Many balsarris - and oils - were
applied, each leaving my hair in a worse state Man
before. This cream, however, has met my mmo'_
tion.
As an article for the toilet, my wife givettit prefer.
ence over all others, -being delicately perfirrnedoind
not disposed to rancidity. The ledies
find the,Chinese Cream to be a tretiide4ntairn in theirs
preparations for the toilet. Rettpectfully,
