of theliar, moved that the Court do now adjourn,
which Was seconded by Thomas Hamilton Esq.,
after, a feW appropriate remarks, requesting the
Gond to call a meeting of the members of the
Bar, at 3 . o'clock P. M. in this place.
After a few brief arid expressive remarks from/

character and high reputation of the deceased, it
was ordered that, as token of the profound respect, ,
cherished for the memory of the deceased, the Court

/ ESTIERISM.—We mach regret that a few of
oiir citizens have so little respect for themselves,
us to attend the Lectures of Messrs Loomis and
lGthon, apparently for Sic, other purpose than to of.
br insult to those gentlemen. Messrs L. and G.
have acted honorably throughout, and given evi-,
dence that they are neither knaves nor imposters,
notwithstanding the malignant "paper" that has/

That Miss Martha is a genuine clairvoyant We
do not assert; but that she does see so as to read
