Prr..nottort; March S, 18.17.
4 Mr. R. R.E.E. Szet.r.ns:—lt is from a sense of duty, as
well as with great pleasure, that I hear testimony
to the virtue ofyour justly celebrated Vermifug,e 1
procured a single bottle, and gave it to three ofrny
children, who had been ill for several weeks. The
eldest' was seven years old, the next four, and ,the
youngest eighteen months. The first passed fitly
:six worms, the second forty-seven, and the third s
considerable number not distinctly recollected, since
then they have been doing well, and are now in good
health. Yours respectfully. S. WAKEFIELD.
.N-From the Rev. S. E. Babcock, of the Methodist
Episcopal Church : ,t
Mr. R. E. SELLERS :-lt is with great plea Sure
that I would inform you of the good effects produced
on my son of four years or age, by your justly-cele
brated Vermifuge. Alter his having convulsions, I
gave him three doses, when he passed an alinok in
credible number, from which time his general health
has been improved. S. E. BABCOCK-
From the Rev. Charles Cook, of the Methodist
Episcopal Church :
PITTSBURGH, December 14, 184:5
Mr. R. E. SELLERS :-i gave my little daughter
(between three and four years old) three doses of
your Vermifuge, according to prescription, with the
happiest success. The number of worms expelled I
do not know precisely, but it was large. She is now
in possession of good health. I think the medicine
may he confided in with great unreservedness.
As this Vermifuge has never been known to fad
in any instance, when worms actually existed; pa
rents should giVe it in preference to all others.

C lIIN ESE HAIR:CUE/LH
A DIATCHLF.SS ARTICLE FOR THE
Growth, and Restoration If the Hair
THIS. CREAM, when once known, will supersede
all other articles of the kind now in use.
Where the hair is dead, harsh, thin, unhealthy, or
turning grey, a few applications will make the hair
soft and dark, and give it a beautiful, lively appear
ance;
and will also make it maintain its liveliness
and healthy color, twice as long as all the prepara.
tidhs wide I are generally used. Where the, hair is
thin, or has fallen off, it-J nay be restored by using
this cream. Every lady and gentleman who is in the
habit of using oils on their hair, should at once pur
chase a bottle of the Chinese Hair Cream, as it is so
composed that it will not'injure the hair like the oth
er preparations, but will beautify it, and give perfect
satisfaction in every instance.
For testimony to its very superior qualities, see
the following letter tient 'Rev. Mr. Caldwell, to
Messrs. Hendershot% & Stretch, Nashville, general
agents for the Southern States;
Letter from the Rev. R. Caldwell, Pastor of the
Presbyterian Church, Pulaski.
Ifendershott and Stretch: Gentlemen—l
take pleasure in adding my testimony,in favor of the
excellent preparation called Dn. PARRISH'S CHINESE
HAUL CREAN--for, about two years ago, my hair
was very dry, brittly, end disposed to come out: but
having procured a bottle of the cream, and used it
according to the prescription, it it now s oft, elastic,
and firm to the head. Many balsams and oils were
applied, each leaving my hair in a worse state than
before. This cream, however, has met my expecta
tion.
As an article for the toilet, my wife gives it prefer
ence over all others, being delicately perfumed, and
not disposed to rancidity. The ladies especially will
find the Chinese Cream to be a desideratum in their
preparations for the toilet. Respectfully . , tic.

150,000 WELL SELECTED GARMENTS
OW made and ready to he offered on the most
liberal terms to my old customers and the Pub
lie io general. The Proprietor of this far famed and
extensive establishment has now, after returning
from the Eastern cities, at much trouble and expense,
just completed his fall and winter arrangements to
supply his thousands of customers with one of the
most desirable stocks ofClothing that has ever bean
offered in this or any other market west ofthe moun
tains. Forneatness in style and workmanship, com
bined with the very low price which they will be
sold for, must certainly render the old unrivalled
Three Big Doors one of the greatest attractions of
the western country. It is gratifying to me to be
able to announce to my numerous friends at home
and abroad, that notwithstanding the extraordinary
efforts which I have made to meet the many calls in
my line, it is with difficulty I can keep time with the
constant rush that is made on this popular establish
ment: It is a well established flict, that my sales are
eight or ten times larger than any other house in the
trade, and this being the case on the amount sold, I
can afford to sell at much less profit than others could
possibly think of doing if they wished to cover con
tingent expenses. I intend to make a clean sweep
of all my present stock before the beginning of next
year; coining to this conclusion, I will make it the
interest of every man, who wants a cheap winter
suit, to call and purchase at the Three Big Doors.

directly, and could have sold several dozen more of
each since they gave out. YourSANATIVE PILLS

There is a young man in this neighborhood, who has

that .lAYNE'S ALTERATIVE would help him. Ho
said, all the medicines in thci world would not

cure him the medicine is worth a fortune." I sent
the sick man a bottle of your Alterative, which he
took, and in one month was able to visit his neigh

was entirely well. I wish you, therefore, to send
me more as soon as possible. I also gave the Alter
