winter of 1832 and 1833, I was seized with
spitting of blood, which continued with occasion
al relief till spring. I consulted several eminent
physicians and tools much medicinc,,but the relict'
obtained was only transient. In the spring I com
menced taking the Vegetable Pulmonary Balsam.,-
At this titre 1 was Much reduced. The day before
I commenced with the Balsam, T raised about a half
a pint of blood, was oppressed witligroat-hoarseness
and a bad cough. I commenced taking the Balsam
thinking ifthis failed I. should resort to medicine no
further. But it did not disappoint my onricenttion.
All the unfaitorable symptoms were immediate`ly_re
lievoti, the cough cured, and I have not been troub
led with spitting of blood since. lam now about to
resume my trade, (that of a rope maker r ) which 1
had given up without any expectation of rittirning
to it,
