XTOW made and ready to he offered on the most,
1 1 liberal terms`to my old customers and the pub-1
lic in general. The Proprietor of this far famed and
extensive establishment has now, after returning /
from the Eastern cities, at much trouble and expense, /
just completed his fall and winter arrangements to /
supply his thousands of customers with one of the` i
most desirable stocks of Clothing that hes ever been /
offered in this or any other market west of the moun
tains. For neatness in style and workmanship, com
bined with the very low price which they will be
sold for, most Certainly render the old unrivalled
Three Big Doors ono of the greatest attractions of
the western country. It is gratifying to me to be
Able to announce to my numerous friends at borne /
and abroad, that notwithstanding the. extraordinary
efforts which I have made to meet the many calls in
my line, it is with difficulty I can keep time with the
constant rush that is made on this popular establish
ment. It is a well established fact, that my sales arc
eight or ten times larger than any other house in the
trade, and this being the case on the amount sold, I
can afford to sell at much less profit than otherscould
possibly think of doing if they wished to cover con
tingent expenses. I intend to make a clean sweep
of all my present stock before the beginning of next
year; coming to this conclusion, I will make it the
.interest of every man, who wants a cheap winter
suit, to call and purchase at the Three Big Doors.

Vegetable Pulmonary Balsam
1. N the winter of 102 and 1833, I was seized with
spitting of blood, which continued with occasion
al relief spring. 1 consulted several eminent
physicians and took much medicine, but the relief
obtained :was only transient. In the spring I coal-.
menced taking the Vegetable Pulmonary Balsam.—
At this time I was much reduced. The day before
I cozomenen. with the Balsam, I raised about a half.
a pint of blood; was oppressed with great hoarseness
and a bad cough. I commenced taking the Balsam
thinking if thnifailed I should resort to medicine no
further. But it did not disappoint my expectation.
All the untlivoraele symptoms were immediately re

Lungs as DR. ROGERS> LIVERWORT and TAR
has made fiatbis city or any other place where it has
been introduced. Although it has not been puffed
in the city papers in EDITORIAL FORM by the
PROPRIETOR for the SOLE purpose of GAIN, (as
most medicines are without regcrd to their worth)
yet the demand has been enormous. In the city of
Dayton, alone, where this medicine has not been ad
vertised to the amount of ten dollars, we received
an order from Messrs. Ells, Chan & Co. to the
amount of one THOUSAND BOTTLES. And this
too, in the summer season,. when there is compara
tively little or no demand for medicine of this char
acter.
irr This medicine still performs CURES that seem
almost incredible, but as they are here, sand are our
own neighbors whose testimony can be had from their
own mouths, it must convince the most sceptical of
the worth of this medicine.
Another REMARKABLE cure of CONSUMP
TION. Mr. Gabriel Whitehead, of this city, was
reduced soLow that ALL HIS FRIENDS, and even
his PHYSICIANS had given him up to DIE! ! !
Mn. A. L. Scovtt.t..—As I owe my tile to the use
of DR. ROGER'S LIVERWORT and TAR, I feel it
a duty, and shall without fear or delicacy give my
testimony as evidence that others who may be afflic
ted with CONSUMPTION or diseased Lungs may
knnw that this medicine is NO HUMBUG, but is
worth ten thousand physicians , prescriptions for the
disease for which it is recommended.
Last summer I was taken with a most DISTRES
SING COUGH;and about the first of July my Lungs
were so diseased that I bled in a short time several
quarts of blood, which reduced me so low that all
my friends, and even my physicians thought I must
soon DIE with CONSUMPTION. My brother, how
' ever, heard of some of the wonderfta cures made by
this medicine, and procured a bottle, and before I
had taken one half bottle, it seemed ti, •n to the eery
sect of Me disease and raised a LARGE QUANTITY
.of MA rrEit and PHLEGM, and my COUGH was
stopped by a charm. I have since used sonic two or
three bottles, and am now able to attend to my buss-
Bess as well as over.
I feel Very thankful to the inventor of thismedicine,
for if it had not been for some all powerful medicine
to have raised the matter and phlegm, and Healed my
lungs, I should without doubt have now been in my
grain.
If any one will call on me on Catharine street, half'
a square below Linn, I will give them the particulars,
and refer thorn to numerous friends w•ho v!sited me
d uring my sickness.

A POSITIVE AND J'ERMANENT cURE FOR,
H. 1.4 ATISM •
, AND ALL NERVOUS COMPLAINTS.'
"What though the causes may not be explained,..
Since their effects are duly ascertained,
Let not delusion, prejudice, or pride,
Induce mankind-to set the means aside;
Means which, the simple, are by Heaven design'il
To alleviate the ills of human kind."
DR. CHRISTIE'S GALVANIC RINGS AND MAG..'
NETIC FLUID.
Tllls remarkable invention, which has received 1
the universal approbation of the medical proles- I
stun of Great Britain, comprises an entirely new ap
plication of Gal vanism, as a remedial agent, by means
of which the ordinary Galvanic Batteries, Electric
and Magnetic Machines, &c., are entirely dispensed
with, and the mysterious power of Galvanism applied
without qny of the objections which are inseparable
from the general mode now in use. The strong dos
es, and irregular intervals, in which Galvanism isap
plied by the Machines, has been pronounced, aftex a
fair and impartial' trial, to be decidedly injurious , and
it was to remedy this radical defect that this new ap. •
plication was projected, which, after unceasinittul,
'and perseverance, has been brought to its present
state ofperfection. The Galvanic Rings answer all
the purposes of the most, expensive Machines, and
in many other respects are more safe and certain in
accomplishing the desired effect.
The Galvanic Rings used in coi*hction with the
Magnetic Fluid, are confidently recommended in all
disorders which arisefrom an enfeebled and unhealthy
stale of the nervous or vital system, and these com
plaints are among the most painful and universal to
which we are subject. They arise, without exception,
from one simple causd—a derangement of the Nerv
ous System—and it was in these cases that other
'remedies' having so often failed, a new agent wa`ti.
grently, needed, which it is confidently believed, has
been found iu the proper and judicious 'application
of Galvanism.
The Galvanic Rings have been used with entire
success in all cases of It Freesias - wet, acute or chi-011ie,
applyine , to the bdad, face or limbs, Gout, Tic-Dolo
reur, Tldhache, Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous Siik
Headache, Igdigestion, Paralysis, Palsy, Epilepsy,
Fits, Cr,dmp, Palpitations of the Heart, Apoplexy,
Stiffness of Joints, Spinal Complaints, Lumbago,
Neuralgia, Nervous Tremors, Dizziness of the Head,
pain in the Chest and Side, General Debilify,Deficien
ry, of Nervous and Physical Energy, and all NERV
OUS DISORDERS. In cases ofconfirmed Dyspepsia,
which is simply a nervous derangement of the diges
tive organs, they have been found equally successful.
Their extraordinary effects upon the system must be
witnessed to be believed, and as a certain preventive
for the preceding complaints they are equally recom
mended. The Rings are of different prices, being
made of an sizes; ind of various ornamental patterns,
and can.be worn by the most delicate female without
the slightest inconvenience. In fact, the sensation
is rather agreeable than otherwise.
The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bands,.
Garters, Necklaces,
In some cages of a very severe character, and of,
long standing, the power as applied by the Galvanic'
Hangs is not sufficientto arrest the progress oftlisease
and ultimately restore health. The improved modi
fication in the Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, &c., entire
ly remedies this objection; any degree of power that'
is required can readily be obtained, and no complaint
allich the mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect
will fail to be permanently relieved. These articles
are adapted to the waists, arms, wrists, limbs, ancles,
orany part of the body, with perfect convenience.
The Galvanic Necklaces are used with greater bene
fit in cases of Bronchitis or affections of the throat
generally; also in cases of Nervous Deafness; and
with almost unithrm success as a preventive for Apo
plexy, Epileptic Fits, and similar complaint''.
'Christie's Magnolia - Plaid
is used in connection with the Galvanic Rings and
all their modifications. This composition has been
pronounorfi by the French Chemists to be one of the
most extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It
is believed to possess the remarkable power of ren
dering the nerves.sensitire to galvanic action by this
means causing a concentration of the influence, at the
seat of disease, thus giving rapid and permanent re
lief. No other composition in chemistry is known to
produce the same effect, or to impart a similar pro
perty to the nervous system, by means °lan outward
local application. The Magnetic Fluid contains noth
ing capable of the slightest injury; its application is
agreeable, and it is as harmless in its action as it is
beneficial in its results. Full explanations and direc
tions accompany it. The combined inventions are in
every way perfectly harmless; they arc sold at prices
within the reach of all and the Alisciaierer only re
quests a lair trial as a test of their surprising efficacy
and permanent benefit.
Chrietle's Galvanic Strengthening Plat
ters.
These articles form another valuable application
of the mysterious influence ofGalvanism. They are
in important adjunct to the genuine Galvanic Rings
and their modifications, acting upon the same princi
ple, but having the advantage of more local applica•
tion. They are confidently recommended as a valu
able addition in the speedy cure ontheumatism, acute
or chronic; in all nervous complaints, and as a posi
tive reinedy in cases of Pain and Weakness in the
Chest or Back, Pain in the Side,in Asmatie Affections,
and in Weakness or Oppression of the Pulmonary Or
gans. In Spinal Complaints their effects are of the
most decided character, and they have often' been
used with compitte success. They are also of the
greatest advantage in Pains and Weakness of the
llreast, and arc highly recommended for many of those
complaints to which females are especially liable. As
an effectual means for strengthening the'system when
debilitited with disease or other causes; as a certain
aid in Constitutional Weakness, as a Preventive of
Colds,.and in all affections of the Chest, generally,
the Galvanic Strengthening Plaster will be found of
great and permanent advantage. In a few woods; it
embraces all the virtues of the best tonic preparation,
with the important addition of the galvanic influence,
which is neither impaired nor exhausted, while the
action continues. These articles will be found entire
ly free (min those objections which are aliconstant
source of 'complaint with theordinary plasters in
common use.

must painful chronic disorders, some of which have
completely baffled all former efforts of medical art.
indeed many of thefirst physicians of this city, who ,
disapprove of the Galvanic and Magnetic Machine,
constantly recommend this application in their prac-1
tice, and with the exception of those who are too
prejudiced to give it. a trial, the invention has re
ceived unanimous favor with the most intelligent
among the American Faculty. Dr. Chiistic is at all
times ready and most happy to gis'e every facility to
physicians, and all interested, for testing the truth of
his assertions and the efficacy of his discovery.
