Vegetable Pulmon'ury Balsam
I •
N the winter of 1832 and la, I was seized with
n
spitting of blood, which continued with occasio
nal relief till spring. I consulted several eminent
physicians and took much medicine, but the relief
obtained Was only transient. In the spring I com
menced taking the Vegetable Pulmonary Balsam.—
At this time I was much reduced. The day before
I commenced with the Balsam, I raised abbot a half
a pint of blood, was oppressed with great hoarseness .
and a bad cough. I commenced taking the Balsam
thinking if this failed I should resort to medicine no
further. Hut it did not disappoint My expectation.
All the unfavorable symptom-were iritmediately re
lieved, the cough cured, and I have not been troub
led with spitting of blood since. lam not about to
resume my trade, (that of -a rope. maker,)-which I
bad given up without any expectation of returning
to it.
