New Lrsnoir, July 23, 1846.
To Dr. Green, Western Agent for Mazones•Syrup:
Dear Sir— , .-From a sense of duty I owe to the
public, as well as to yourself, I make the following
statement of my case, hoping it may be the means
of doing some good to others who may be similar
ly afflicted by inducing them to try the same in
valuable remedy.without dalay. I have had a pain
in my breast and side attended with a harrassing
cough for more. than three years, during which
time I. expectorated large quantities of, matter; and
last spring my cough became so bad that one blood
vessel after another gave way in my lungs, Which,
together 1546 the general wasting away of my gen;
eral system, reduced me to that condition; that I
was nnable to attend to any business whatever,
and gave up all hopes Of ever being better. My
case was pronounced hopeless and incqrable by
physicians and despaired of by every one that knew
my condition. ItAtas at this time coughing almost
constantly, and losing an alarming quantity of
blood from my - dungs daily; and suc was my de
bilitated condition that .I could not walk but a few
steps without becoming exhausted; and no one
who has taken the trouble of acquainting them
selves of my real condition would for a moment
consider-that it was. More hopeful than the worst
cases of consumption generally. I have now tak
en nearly 3 bottles of the truly wonderful Sicilian
Syrup. The bleeding of the lungs was stopped be
fore I had taken half of the first bottle. Mycough
has abated, the pain has left my breast and side,
and my former health and strength have so far
returned that I am at work every. day, and I feel
that lam a new man. And I am satisfied that
consumption may be and has been cured by the
use of. Dr. Itlazoni',s Sicilian Syrup, and I earnestly
recommend all that suffer as I have done to try
this justly celebrated Syrup without delay, for I do
think it the greatest discovery that .ever graced
the medical 11.afession. With the „highest consid
eration of respect I subscribe Myself your very
much obliged friend, JOHN ROSS
This is to certify that we, the undersigned, have
been acquainted with John Ross for a number of
years and cheerfully testify to, the correctness of
the statement above made of his case, and we do
consider him a new man compared with what he
was three months ago, and. Confidently accord the
credit of his cure to the use of the truly celebrated
Sicilian Syrup. Witness our hands and seals this
23d day of July. IS4B.

This is none other Otto the used up particles of
the blood, and ther juices giving. place to the new

tain in the system five -eights of all the virulent matter
that nature demands should leave the body. • -

It la by stopping the por:es, that overwhelnie man

tenths. of. the world die from diseases induced by a
stoppage of the Insensible Perspiration.
Let me ask, now, every. candid mind, what course
seems the most reasonable to:pursue, to unstop the
pores, after they are closed. Wonld you give physic
to unstop the pores? Or would you apply soinething
that would do this upon the sitirce, where the clog

there is seirreelya•diseasv, external or internal, that
it will not benefit. I have used it for the last foul-Men
years for all diseases of the chest, consumption, lir '
er involving the utmostdanger aifdtesponsibility,and
I declare before Ileaven ; and Man, that notiut one
single case has it failed to benefit, when the patient
was within the reach of mortal means.
I have had physicians, learned in the profession;
have had ministers of the, Gospel, Jodges on the
bench, Alderuien and LaWyers, gentlemen of the
highest erudition and multitudes of the poor, use it
in every variety of way, and there has been but one
voice—one united and universal voico.-.=saying "Mc-
Allister, your Ointment is good..
c'ONSUAIPTION.-4t can hardly be credited that a
salve can have any effect upon the lungs, seated as
they are within the system. But if placed upon the
chest, it penetrates directly to the lungs, seperates
the poisonous particles that are consuming them,
and expels them from the system.
I need not say that it is curing persons orconsump
tion continually, although we are told it is foolish.
ness, I care not what is said, so long as I can cure
several thousand personsyearly
:HEADACHE.—The Salve has cured persons of
the Headache of ten years, standing, and who had it
regolarly- every week, so that vomiting often took
place.
Deafness and Ear Ache are helped with like suc
cess.
COLD FEET.--Consumption, Liver complaint,
pains in the chest or side, fallitirulT the hyir, one or
the other always accompanies cold feet.
The Salve will cure every case.
In Scrim;la, Erysipplas, salt Rheum, Liver com
plaint Sore Eyes, Quinsy,.Sore Throat, Bronchitis,
Broken or Sore Breast, Piles, all Chest Diseases, such
as Asthma, Oppression,P sin, also Sore Lips, Chap
ped hands, Tumours, Cutaneous Eruptions,Nervous
Diseases, mul of the Spine there is probably no med
icine now known so good.
BUR'S.—It is the best thing in the world for
Borns. (Bead the Directions around the box.)
PIMPLES ON THE FACE—Masculine Skin gross

When there is nothing but grossness, or dull repel,
sive surface, ittegins to soden and soften until the
skin becomes as smooth and delicate as a child,.
WOILMS.—If parents knew how fatal most medi
cines were to children taken inwardly, they Would
be slow to resort to them:. Especially "mercurial
lozenge:," called "medicated lozenges," 'rvermir
fugeS" pills , &c. The truth is, no one can tell, in
variably v. 111:11 worms are present. Now let me saw
to parents that this Salve will always tell if a child
has worms. It will drive every vestige of them a
way. (Read the directions around tlib btu.)
There is probably no medicine on the face of the
earth at once so sure and so safe in the expulsion ot
worms.
TOlLET:—Althougb 1 hUve said little about it as
a hair rcetorative pet I will stake it against the world?
They may bring their Oils fa't• and near, and mine will
restore the hair two cases to their one.
OLD SORES.—That some Sores are an outlet to
the impurities of tne system, is, hecause they cannot
pass otf through the natural channels of the Insensi.

impurities Must litti'e saute Other outlet, or it will en

such emergencies.
1111 EumAnsm.--itrem:oves almost immediately

VENT.Ii.S..:—In all cases of fever, the difficulty licit
in the pores being locked 'up,'so'tliat the heat and
perspiration cannot pass off: If the least moisturr
could be started the crisis has insnethanil the danger
over. , The All-Healing Ointment wi4 in all cases or
levers almostinstantly unlock tht..skin and bring forth
the peFspiration.
SCALD HEAD.--We hare cured cases that act,,
ally defied every thing knout,, as well as the ability
of fifteen or twenty doctors. One rnanzoltf us he
had spent $5OO on his children without any benefit,
when a feu boxes of the ointment cured them.
COllNS.—Ocensimial use of the Ointment Will al

APtif_SICIAR'S OPINION .OF DR. JAYNE'S

••.' Lowerz, Mass.Jan..27th, 1646;
Dr..Datict Jayne-.—Dear Sir: I have used your
medicine, (so .univetsslly known by the name. of
JAYNE'S .EXPECTORANT,i in my practice for a.
number of years, and can most truly say, that I hare
been More successful in the use of that .as ' a mild,
safe, and thorough EXPECTORANT,' than or any
which I bare ever csed. It i&the best for' the fel;
!owing obvious reasons.: It, does-not (if gisen in
proper dosimg occasion a disag,re . eable nausea. It
door not weaken the lungs and prostrate the system,
like moat other Expeetorants in Common use, nor
does it abate the appetite of the patient like - other
nauseating medicines, which hare been usedby..the
faculty. -.ln a word it is nearly or quite the thing
which bas been sought for by ionny of the faculty
for ages gone by. I remain, yours,A.c. •
