above is extracted, the entire establishment has been
greatly enlarged. The collection of Camellias em

sands of various sizes; so likewise with Roses, and
other desirable plants, both tender and hardy; fruit

The Seed Gardens alone cover fifty acres, and the
whole is, as it has been for more than half a century,
under the successive management of father and son,
