To Dr. Green, Western Agent lor.Mazoni's Syrup:
Dear Sir—From 'a sense of 'ditty I owe to the
public, as well as V) yourself, I make. the following
statement of my case, hoping it may be the means
- of doing some good to others who may be sin:lila! ,
ly &Meted by inducing their to try the seine i'm
Valuable remedy Without dtlay. I have had a pain
in my breast and side attended with a harrassing
cough for more than three years, during, which
timed expectorated large quantities of matter; and
laitapring my cough became se bad that and brood
'Vessel after another gaVe WaYin rnylangS, which,
together With the general wasting away of:my gen.
eral system, reduced me to that Condition.' that 1
Was unable to attend to any business whatever,
and gave up all hopes of ever being better. My
case was pronounced hopeless and •incurable by
physicians and despaired of by every one that knew
my condition. I was at this time coughing almost
constantly, and losing an alarming quantity of
blood from my lungs daily; and such was my de
bilitated condition that I could not walk but a few
steps without becoming exhausted; and no one
who' has taken the trouble of acquainting them
-1 selves of my real condition would for a moment
consider that it was more hopeful than the worst
cases of consumption generally. I have now tak
en nearly 3 bottles of the truly wonderfudSicilian
Syrup. The bleeding of the lungs was stopped be
fore I had taken half of the first bottle. My cough
has abated, the pain has lelt my breast and side,
and my former health and strength have so far
returned that I am at work every day, and I feel
that lam a new man. And I am satisfied that
consumption may be and has been cured by the
use of Dr. Maxoni's Sicilian Syrup, and I earnestly
recommend all that suffer as I have done to try
this justly celebrated Syrup without delay, for I do
think it the greatest discovery that over graced
the medical profession. 'With the highest consid
eration of respect 1 subscribe myself your very
much obliged friend, JOHN ROSS.
. This is to certify that we, the undersigned, have
been acquainted with John Ross for a number of
years and cheerfully testify to the correctness of
the statement above made of his case, and we do
consider him a new man compared with whit he
was three months ago, and confidently accord the
credit of his cure to the use of the truly celebrated
Sicilian Syrup. Witness our hands and seals this
23d day of J uly. 18-16.

PHYSICIANT'S OPINION OF DR. JAYNE'S
t,X.PECTOIIANT.
... LOWELL, Mtss.Jan. 27th, I,S4G.
. .
Dr. David Jayne—Dear-Sir: I have used your ,
medicine, (so universally known by the name of
.T,4 Y.VE'S EXPECTORANT,) in my practice for a
number of years, and can most truly say, that I have
been more succeasild in the use of that as a mild, ,
safe, and thorough EXPECTORANT, than of any 1
which 1 have ever used. It is the best for the fol
lowing obvious reasons. It does not (if given in
proper doses.) occasion a disagreeable nausea. It'
door not weaken the lungs and prostrate the system,' .
like most other Expectorants in common use, nor
does it abate the r.ppetite of the patient like other
nauseating medicines, which have been used by the
faculty. In a word it is nearly or quite the thing
which has been sought for by many of the faculty
for woes gone by. I remain, yours, &c.

Scriptifte is "in 'the Blood is the Life." :If it - ever he ,

'that is necessary when The blood Is stiessiant, or in
fected, is to open the pores, and it relieves itself from
all impurity fristatillts Its own heat and - vitality arc
sufficient, without one pinkie Of Medicine, eicept
to open the - peres upon the ititftiem ; Thus we see
the folly of takiligeo seta - internal remedies. 'All
practioners; heweVer, direct their ellen& to restore
the Insensible Perspiration. Then - psi:Mien, for
instance, steams, the IlydroPathiet shrouds us in wet
blankets, the Homopdthist deals out infinitissimals,
the Allopathist bleeds- 'and dosei us with mercury,
and the blustering Quack gorges us with pills; pills;

To give some idea of the ainount of tha flamed.',
ble Perspiration, we wiW State that the learned Dr.
Lels-enhock I ascertained that five-eights of all we re
ceive into the stomach, passed off by this melim. In'
other words, if we eat and drink eight pounds per
day, we evacuate five pounds of it by' thh Insensible I
Perspiration.
This is none other than the used up-particles of
the blood, and ther juices giving place to the new
and fresh ones. To check this, therefore, is ter re
tain in the system five-eights of all the virulent matter
that nature demands should leave the body.
By a sudden tritiasitionfrom heat to cold, the pore*
are stopped, the perspiration ceases, and disease be
gins at once to develope itself. Hence, astoppage cf
this flow of the juices, originates so many ccirr
plaints-
It is 'by stopping the nbiea, that overwhelmi man
kind With coughs;
cads, and consumption. Nine
tenths of the worl d die from diseases induced by a
stoppage of the Insensible Perspiration.
Let me ask, now, every- candid mind, what &Arse
seems the must reasonable to pursue, to unstop the
pores, after they are closed. Would you give physic
to-unstop the pores? Or would you apply something
that would dh this upon the surface, where the clog
ging actually is? And yet I know of no Physician
who makes any external applications to infect it.
Uneet these circumstances, 1 present to physicians,
and to all others, TvleAlistees All-Healing Ointment,
or the World's Salve; elt has power to restore per
spiration on the feet, on the head old sores, upoutlic
chest, in short, upon any part of the body, whef iet
diseased slightly or severely. • ,
It has power to cause all external saes, scrofulous
humors, skin diseases, poisonisessyrburids, to die , :
charge theri putrid matter, and then heals them;
It is a remedy that sweeps off the whole catalogue
of cutaneous disorders, and restore the entire cuitch
to its healthy functions. -- -
It is a rvaedy that forbids the necessity of so man;
And deleterious drugs taken into the stomach.
It is a remedy that neither sickness, gives incense.
nience, or is dangerous to the intestines.
It preserves and defends thesurface from all de
rangemeut of its functions. - Theeurfsee is the out
let of five-eights of the bile and used up matter with
in. It is Merced with millions of Openings to relieve
the intestines: Stop up theseibres, and death knocks
at your. door. It is rightly termed All-Healing, for
there is scarcely a disease, external or internal, that
will not benefit.. I have used it for the last fourteen
years for all diseases of the chest, conetunption, liv'
Cr involving the utmonftauger and responsibility, and
I declare before Heaven and man. that not in one
single case has it failed to benefit, when the patient
was within the reach of mortal means.
I have had physicians, learned in the profession; 1
have had inisisters of the Gospel; Judges on the
bench, Aldermen Mid Lan - yers, gentlemen of-the.
highest erudition and multitudes of the poor, use it
in every variety of way, and there has been but one
voice—one united and universal voice—saying "Mc-

CONSUMPTION:—It can hardly be credited that a
salve can have any effect upon the lurigs, sseated as
theiyare within the system. But if placed upon the
chest, it penetrates directly to the lungs, seperates
the poisonous particles that are Consuming them,
and expels them from the system. -
I need not say that it is curing persons of consump
tion continually, although we ore told it is foolish.
ness, I care not what is said, so long as I can cur.
several thousand persons yearly. '
~HEADACHE.—Tie Salve has cured persons of
the Headache of ton years standing., and who had it
regularly every wedk, so that vomiting often took
place.
Deafness and Ear Achc are helped with like sue
, cess.
] COLD FEET.—Consumption, Liver complaint,
pains in the chest or side, falling Off the 'hair, one or
the other always accompanies cold feet.
The Salve will Cure every case.

There is probably no medicine bn the face of the
earth at once so sure and so safe in the expulsion of
worms.
TOILET.---Although I have said little abeut it as
a hair restorative yet I will stake it against the world?
They may-bring their Oils far and near, and mine will
restore the hxir two bases to their one.
OLD SORES.—That some Sores are an outlet to
the impurities oflne system, is, because they cannot
pass off through life natural channels of the Insensi
ble Perspiration. If such sores are healed up the
impurities must have some other outlet, or it will en
danger life. This salve Will always provide for
such emergenbies.
1111EUMATISM.—Itremoves almost immediately
the inflammation and swelling, when the pain oh
course ceases.
FEVERS.—In all cases of fever, the difficulty lies
in the pores being locked up, so that the heat and
perspiration cannot pass off. if the least moisture:
could 1;e started the crisis hite passed and .the danger
over. The All-Healing Ointment Will in all eases or
fevers almost instantly unlock the din add bring forth
the perspiration.
SCALD HEAD.—We have cured cases that actu
ally'efied every thing knoWn, as well as the ability
of fifteen or twenty doctors One man told us he
had spent $5OO on his children without any benefit,
when a few boxes of the ointment cured them.
CORNS.-4Thcasional use of the Ointment will al
' ways keep torns'from growing. ,People need tieier

AS A FAMILY MEDICINE..4No man can meas
[ ore its value. SO Lang as the stars roll elan, over
the Heavens-so long'as man treads the earth; sub =
ject to all infimities of the flesh—so long as disease
