to Dr. Greek, Ti'esterri,Agent Icir f lltazoni's Syrup:
Dear Sir—From a sense of duty I owe to.the

statement of my case; honing limey hello mewls
of doing some good to others wlio may be similar
m -
ly afflicted by inducing the to try the: SOme in.
valuable remedy without delay. I have ,had a pain
in my breast and side attended with a.harrassilig
cough for more than. three years, - during which
time I expectorated large quantities of matter; and
last spring.my cough became so badthatonebload
vessel after another gave way in tnylungs, which,
together %kith the gen era], wastin,g away of my gert
eral system, reduced me to that condition, that I
was.unable to attend to any business whatever,
and gavb up all hopes of ever being better. My
case was pronounced hopeleSS and incurable by
physicians and despaired of by every one that knew
my condition. I was at this time coughing almost
constantly, and losing an alarming quantity of
blood from my lungs daily; and such was my de
bilitated condition that I could not walk but a few
steps without becoming exhausted; and no one,,
who has taken the trouble of acquainting them
selves of my real condition would for a moment
consider that it was more hopeful than the worst
cases of consumption generally. I have now tak
en nearly 3 bottles of the truly wonderful Sicilian
Syrup. The bleeding of the lungs was stopped be- .
fore shad taken half of the first bottle. My cough
has abated, the pain has left my breast and side,
and my former health and strength have so far
returned:that I am at work every day. and I feel
that lam a new man. And I am satisfied that
consumption may be and has been cured by the
use of Dr. .Mazoni's Sicilian Syrup, and l earnestly ,
recommend all that sutler as I have done to try
this justly celebrated Syrup without delay, for I do
think it the greatest discovery that ewer graced I
the medical profession. With the highest consi.l-1
oration of respect I subscribe myself your very I
much obliged friend. JOHN IRKS.
This is to certify that i.ve, the undersigned, have
been acquainted with John Russ fur a number 01
years and cheerfully testify to the correctness 01
the statement above made of his case, and we do
consider him a new man compared with what he
was three modths ago, and confidently accord the
credit of his cure to the use of the truly celebrated
Sicilian Syrup. Witness our hands and seals this
day of July. ISdG.•
