have elapsed since these celebrated Pills ;(ere first)
introduced to the public, the-'sale of them in the 1
Eastern and middle States has far exceeded Dr.
Clickener's most sanguine expectations. During the ,
past year, alone, no less than 10,000 gross of boxesl
have been sold in the State of New York, 6,000 in
Penusylvania,4,ooo in Maryland, 3,000 in New Jer
sey, 2,090 in Delaware, and 9,000 in the Now England
States, requiring the constant employment of 27
hands, exclusive of printers and engravers. In tit,
same period, upwards of 200,000 copies of the
"Family Doctor" have been ordered by agents in
every section of the m.untry. These facts must
show, conclusively, that Dr. Llickcner's Sugar Coat
' ed Pills, besides being the very best medicine in the
world, are held in the highestestimation the public.
We might extend this publication to an indefin•
ite length, if we deemed it expedient to publish,al:
tersimonials we have received, not only from agent
but individuals and families, who have experienced
the benficial effects of Clickener's Sugar Coated
Pills, but we deem it unnecessary. The most, in
contestible evidence of their unprecedented success,
are the humberiess Imitations and Counterfeits whieli
have already appeared, notwithstanding the brief lA
rind they have been before the public. Even song::
of our staunchest pill makers have had the audacity
to imitate the Capsule of Sugar, in order to disguise
the ingredients of their vile compounds, and palm
them off for the "real . siinon pure:" . Such paltry
shifts cannot last long without exposing their ludeous
kleihrmity. Truth and hone, lty must inevitably pre
vail over rascality and deception.
