The article, with 'only moderate transactions, has been gradu ally advancing, during the week, until both City :Mills and Howard street have sold at s4,so—aud -at close, holders are se straightened as either to be - without a price, or have no flour to sell. The in spections for the week comprise the following kinds Auld quantities, viz: Howard street 5,550 bbls. and 50 half bbls.; Mills 4,963 bbls. and 379 half IEI bbls.; Susquehanna GO bbls.; Family Flour 238 bbls. Grain.—Wheat con tin ues to arrive very sparin ' ly, and price. in consequence have got up to 95 cents for red, and $1,20 for white. No Rye corn ing forward. Corn has improved in demand and' price, thO receipts being very light, and prices are up to 63 and• 64 rents let .yellow., and 63 to 66 for white. Oats have advanced RI S 2 cents, Govern ment being again in the market. Provisions.—We have not been able 6 reafn of any transactions in Beef or Pork. Sales of Bacon Save been free, but at tbrmer prices, viz: Shoulders 'from 3-3- to 4 cents; Middlings 5 to 5/; and Hams 6to 9, according to quality and sizes.
