Ue then recalled to the officer's raiud
the fact that iu September, ISGC, an in
ceudlury fire occurred at Altooua, by
which a row of eevea new buildings, oc
cupied by stores and eome of them hav
ing dwellings iu the upper portions was
burned. There was no eusniciou as to

for the apprehension aud convicti )i of
the crimiuul was offered. The rewa:d at

increased to S50i). Iiill gaij lht he was

whom he never saw before. They made
themselves very friendly, and induced
him to drink repeatedly. He was not au
habitual drinker, and they made him

can attest). If you have toothache, it is
the place to go, and have it Mopped in
five minutes, without pain, and without
extracting, aud at the same time can have
said organ preserved for usefulness for
life. It is also the place to go if yo
have scurvied gums, and f 50.00 will be
paid in every case of failure to cure. Ii
is the place to go if yon want the most
beautiful sets of Torci-lain Teeth aud
Gums, mounted upon Itubber or any of
the various bases now in general use, and
at prices to euit all. Teeth filled and
built up with fine Gold, warranted to last
for life. Teeth repaired. -Old Beta arti
ficial teeth exchanged for new, or re
uioddled warranted to give perf..ct sat
isfaelion. I purpose giving my partic
ular attention to the preservation of the
Natural Teeth. It is to be lamented that
on the part of the people the disposition
is to submit to the loss of tho natural
teeth (which, if attended to, might be
saved) for artificial teeth, which at best
are only substitutes ; thus causing as a
Ulirect result, what tilanv are not aware
of, a shortening of the lives of the indi
viduals themselves, and also entailing on
tho coining geiieialion an imperfect or
ganism. If persons would have their
teeth examined once a year, and then
have them attended to'iu time by a com
petent Dentist, they would never know
what toothache or neuralgia was, and
would preserve their teeth and also their
health.
