Thb Nbw Yohk Circus The New
York Circus will visit Mifflintown on
Wednesday, June 2Gth. This celebra
ted troup is oue of the best now traveling
and is highly spoken of by the press in
all places where they have exhibited.
The Managing Director, Alex. Robiu-
inson, is an old caterer to the public, and
fully understands what i necessary to
make up a popular amusemeut. lie has
secured the services of the most promi
nent artists, male and female now living,
and bis stud of performing horses aud
ponies are unexcelled, while bis corps of
trained mules affords infinite amusement
to young and old. From what we bare
heard of his company we believe it to be
worthy of public patronage, and expect
to see a large audience in attendance at
their performance. The best of order is
maintained by the management both
within and out of the tent, and nothing
said or done calculated to offend the
most fastidious, and the performances are
of a high toned, moral character.
