Kissing. The Altoona Tribune fin
ishes a local article on kiss'm- irt this
way : Some genius, inspired, no doubt,
by a tender kiss, relieves himself in this
wise :
Any fool may face a cannon
Anybody wear a crown
But a man must win a woman,
If he'd bare her for bis own.
Would you bare tie golden apple.
You must find the tret and shake it ;
If the thing is worth the having
And you want a kiss, why take it.
W ho would burn upon a desert,
With a forest smiling by T
Who would give his sunny Summer
For a bleak and Wintry sky f
Ob! I tell yo there is music, ' ! ' '
" And yon cannot, cannot break It ;
For the sweetest part of loving
1 It to want a kiss, and take it.
