Ezeeutrix. Ayer's Hair Vigor, For restoring Gray Hair to its natural Vitality and Color. A dressing which is at once agreeable, healthy, and effectual for preserving the hair. Faded or gray hair U toon rettored to its original color with the gloss and .freshness of youth. Thin hair is thick ened, failing hair checked, and bald ness often, though not always, cured by its use. Nothing can restore the hair where the follicles are destroyed, or tho glands atrophied and decayed. But such as remain can be saved for usefulness by this application. Instead of fouling tha hair with a pasty edi ment, it will keep it clean and vigorous. Its occasional use will prevent the hair from turning gray or falling off, and consequently prevent baldness. Free from those deleterious substances which make some preparations dangerous and injurious to the hair, the Vigor can only benefit but not harm it. If wanted merely for a HAIR DRESSING, nothing else can be found so desirable. Containing neither oil nor dye, it does not soil white cambric, and yet lasts long on the hair, giving it a rich glossy lustre and a grateful perfume. Prepared by Dr. J. C. HE KIDNEYS The Kidneys are two in number, aituated at the upper part of the lain, surrounded by fat. and consisting of three parts, i : the Anterior, the Interior, and the interior. The anterior absorbs. Interior consists of tissues or veins, which serve as a deposit for the urine and convey it to the exterior. The exterior is a conductor also, terminating in a single tub, and called the Ureter. The ureters are connected with the bladder. The bladder is composed of various cover ings or tissues, divided into parts, vix: the Upper, the Lower, the Nervous, and the Mu cous. The upper expels, the lower retains. Many have a desire to urinate without the ability ; others urinato without the ability to retain. This frequently occurs in chil dren. . To cure these affections, we must bring into action the muscles, which are engaged in their various functions. If they are ne glected. Gravel or Dropsy may ensue. The reader must also be made aware, that however slight may be the attack, it is sure to an"ect the bodily health and mental pow ers, as our flesh and blood are supported from these sources. TREA TMEXT. nelmbol l's highly concentrated compound Extract Ruchu is decidedly one cf the best remedies for diseases of the bladder, kidney, gravel, dropsical swellings rheumatism, and gouty affections. Under this heal we have arranged Dysuria, or difficulty and pain in passing water. Scanty Secretion, or small ; and frerjuent discharge of water; Strangury, or stopping of water ; Hematuria, or bloody urine; Gout and Rbeumalism of the ktd npys, without anyehange in quantity, but in crease in color, or dark water. It was al ways highly recommended by the late Dr. I'hysick, in these affection. This medicine increases the power of di gestion, and excites the abso'hents into healthy exercise by which the watery or calcareous depositions, and all unnatural I enlargements, as well as pain ami infUmma- lion, are reduce d and it is taken by men wo- men and children. T. 11ki.mB(ili, Druggist : Dear Sib I have been suffering, for up I ward of twenty years, with gravel, bladder. and kidney affection, during which time 1 have used various medical preparations, and been under the treatment of the most eminent Physicians, experiencing but little relief. Having seen your prepaiaiions extensively advertised, I consulted with my family physician in regard to using your Extract Bucbu. I did this because I had used all kinds of advertised remedies, and had found them worthless, and some quite injurious, in fact 1 despaired of ever g-uting well, and determ ined to use no remedies hereafter unless I knew of the ingredients. It was this that prompted me to use your remedy. As you advertised that it was composed of bucuu cubebs, and juniper berries, it occured to me and my physician as an excellent com binatiou, and, with his advice, afteran exam ination of the article, and consulting again witli tne druggist, l concluded to try it. commenced its use about eight months ago, at which time I was confined to my room. From the first bottle I was astonished and gratified at the beneficial effect, and after using it three weeks, was able to walk out. 1 felt much like writing you a full statement of my case at the time, but thought my ira provement might only be temporary, and tnerclore concluueu to defer and see if it would effect a perfect cure knowintr then it would be of greater value to you, aud more satisiactory to me. I am now able to report that a cure is ef fected after using the remedy for five months. I have not used any now for three months, and feel as well in all respects as 1 ever did. Your Buchu being devoid of any un pleasant taste aad odor, a nice tonic and in vigorator of the system, 1 do not mean to be without it whenever occasion may require its use in such affections. M. M.
