How to Keep Potatoes. A corres pondent of the Scientific American says that he has tiied the following method of keeping potatoes for years with complete success, though in some instances the tu bers were diseased when taken aut of the ground: "Past over the floor of the bin with lime, and put in about six or seven iouhen deep of potatoes and dust with lime as Lsfore. Put in six or seven inches of potatoes and lime again ; repeat the operation until ijl are stored away. Oue bushel of lime will do for forty bushels of potatoes, though more will not hurt them the lime rather improving the flav or than otherwise." . Temperance Meeting.
