Kever fail to satisfy those who give them a
thorough trial, and wherever introduced are
rapidly superceding all others.
They use two threads with a ttraighl needle
and thuttle, making the Lore Stitch, which
is alike on both sides, and for economy, dura

which produce better timed motions for sew

needle throwing out its loop, and then ttanJ

both draw upon the threads together, making
the stitch tight and ttrong. They are capable
f running at very high speed, being emooth

attacks. In the lungs, Scrofula produce
tubercles, and finally Consumption; in tho
glands, swellings which suppurate and be
come ulcerous sores ; in the stomach an(t
bowels, derangements which produce indi
gestion, dyspepsia, and liver complaints ; on
the skin, eruptive and cutaneous affections.
These, all having the same origin, require the
same remedy, via., purification and invigora
tion of the blood. Purify the blood, and
these dangerous distempers leave you. With
feeble, foul, or corrupted blood, you cannot
have health; with that "life of the flesh"
healthy, you cannot have scrofulous disease.
Ayer's Sarsaparilla
is compounded from the most effectual anti
dotes that medical science has discovered for
this afflicting distemper, and for the cure of
the disorders it entails. That it is far supe
rior to ant other remedy yet devised, ia
known by all whe hare given it a trial. Tha
it docs combine virtues truly extraordinaiy
in their effect upon this class of complaints,
is indisputably proven by the great multitude
of publicly known and remarkable cures rt
has made of the following diseases : ILXng t
Evil, or Glandular 8wellings, Tumors,
Eruptions, Pimples, Blotches and Sores,
Erysipelas, Bote or St Anthony's Fire,
Salt Eheum, Scald Head, Coughs from
tuberculous deposits in the lungs, White
Swellings, Debility, Dropsy, Neuralgia,
Dyspepsia or Indigestion, Syphilis and
Syphilitic Infections, Mercurial Diseases
Female Weaknesses, and, indeed, the whole
series of complaints that arise from impurity
of the blood. Minute reports of individual
eases may bo fotrr in Avxa's AMxatcaa
Almaxac, which is furnished to the druggists
for gratuitous distribution, wherein may b
learned the directions for its use, 'and soma
of the remarkable ores which it has made
when all other remedies had failed to afford
relief. Those cases are purposely take a
from all sections f the coantry, in order
that every reader may hare access to some?
one who can speak to him of its benefits trom
personnl experience. Scrofula depresses the)
vital energies, and thus leaves its victim tar
more subject to durase and its fatal results
than are healthy constitutions. Hence it
tends to shorten, and does gTeatly shorten,
the average duration of human hft. Th
vast importance of these considerations ha
led us to spend years in perfecting a remedy
which is adequate to its cure. This we now
offer to the public under the name of Avbb'
S a as ji pa rill a, although it is composed of
ingredients, some of which exceed the be
of SariaparUla in alterative power. By ita
aid you may protect yourself from the suffer
ing and danger of these disorders. Pnrga
out the foul corruptions that rot and fetter
in the blood, purge out the eauses of disease,
and vigorous health will follow. By its pecu
liar virtues this remedy stimulates the vital
functions, and thus expels the distenipr
which lurk within the system or burst out
on any part of it.
Vc" know the public havo been deceived
by rliany compounds of Sartaparilta, that
promised much and did nothing; but they
will neither be deceived nor ciisnppointra in
' this. Iu virtues have been proven by abun
! dant trial, and there remains no question of
its surpassing excellence for the cure of th
amit'Unz diseases it is intended to reaen.
: Although under the same name, it is a very
different medicine from anv other which ha
. . .. . , - r -
been before the people, and is far more
fei-tual than any other which ha ever been
available to them.
