A Sketch of James Fisk, Jr.
The remarkable individual, whose- ca
reer was so suddenly terminated on 'Sun
day me - ailing the 7th inst.,-was a native of
Brattleboro, Vermont, where Iteleas,bons
April 1, 1834, and was consequently is
his 38th year at the time of-his death
Though born'on what is popularly tidied
April Fool's day, he was anything, but. .a

reCommends the, passage of laws, to secure
the neutrality of corporations in political
contests, and if proved that :money is ex
