1. The Committee and Secretary have an
Mike on the Fair grounds, where dm Judges are
requested to meet at to o'clock on the 3d day,
and their names will be called and vacancies
tilled; and they toil( be furnished with the
Ht.,oks of Entry, when they %% ill proceed to de
cide upon the merits of the articles and animals
entered for premiums, and report in writing at
1 o'clock the third day.
2. It k important that all persons appointed
on An:tilling Columitte should be present at
that hour. The Judges can r....sort for instructions
and to make out reports to the office.
S. Any animal entered for exhibition in one
class, cannot oaupete in any other class, except
RA one of a herd or for swt•epstakes. The award
ing committees will be furnished with ctrds,
thignating first anti second premiums, which
they Will Aix to the animal or article according
to their award.
4. The judges shall in all cases withhold pre
miums when the animal or article is not worthy,
though there . be no competition.
5. Inhibitors a Lihing to compete tbr premi
ums must have their animals or articles entered
on the Secretary's hook the second day of the
Fair, and a cant, ehich will be rtrei;l4l from
the l3ceretary, 11. C. Tyler, must he placed on
the animal or article to he exhibited. They
must be all on the ground for exhitilti,n by 1 . 0
o'clock, a. in., of the third day, or they cannot
receive a premium. Nil animal or article ran
be removed before the close of the exhibition,
exTept by , permission of one of the Executive
Commit lee.
6. it is very desirable that all vehicles entering
the enclosed ground should be kept in motion.
7. Superintendents of the different depart
ments will have all animals and articles system
atically arranged. The officers of the society
and supenntendents will be known by their offi
cial baelgt,.s.
a. No premium will be awarded to any person
exhibitin& articles or animals not entered in the
name of the bvsa Me owner of the same.
9. Premiums not called for within six months
will be considered donated to the society.
A sufficient police tbrce will be in attendance,
day and night, to protect the property of exhib
itors.
Arrangements are made for keeping stock
over night in coverts] stalls.
There will be a committee at the entrance of
the Fair grounds to direct all persons driving in
stock over night.
Stock can be entered twenty days previous to
Fair by calling on 11. C. Tyler, Secretary.
No provisions will be made for stalling stock
over two years old.
Those driving in stock can be accommodated
with pasture as follows: Those coming from
the north and New Milford at 13.. S. Searles ;
from Brooklyn, at William Jessup's; and from
Springville, the Wyalusing, the West and Owe
go Turnpike, at J. S. Tarbell's farm, formerly
Pcckin's
All the Judps and Superintendents that nre
here In time will receive a ticket for free dinner.

The gates will be open from 7 o'clock a. m.,
till 5 o'clock p. nt., each day.

voted to arranging the grounds and buildings.
