The river, for several suites above, could be easily navigated by a boat of light draft. Rewired, That the encouraging indications of a deep and more general interest in the Sunday School cause in this county is the occasion of gratituds to God, and should stimulate us to still greater activity in this department of christian usefulness Rewired, That we recognize the importance of a County Convention as a means for the im provement in the modes of Sabbath School teachins• and for awakening a deeper interest in the Sunday School cause. Resolved, That the Sabbath School Mission work holds a large and most important place in our field of labor, and claims earnest, persist. seat and well directed effort from our individual churches. Rewired, That we deem the statistical facts concerning the various Sabbath Schools of this county to be of such importance as to deserve the prompt attention of the District Secretary. Rewired, That we rejoice in the spirit of elms tun union that has been manifested in this as sociation, demonstrating that whatever our nominal differences, we are one in Christ and one in chrbsfian work. • All our children for Jesus is our motto and watchword. On Motion.--A vote of thanks was given the citizens of Susquehanna Depot for their hospi tality and the choir for their services. In concluding the report of this meeting of the association, we regret that, in consequence of our distriel. secretaries not receiving the necessary blanks usually distributed, by the cor responding sedielarles, the statistical reports are so few that.j: t cannot give a full and general statistical of the schools in this county. But are gielfied to state, from the interesting reports from delegates present, and the statisti cal reports received that there is manifestly a deep interest felt in the cause of Sunday Schools in our county and a united effort of the 'various denominatations to tench the rising generation that Divine knowledge which is able to make wise unto salvation and lead the - young into the fold of the Divine Shepard.
