The Harford Base Ball 'Club was chal
lenged to meet the Nichotson Club at
Ilopbottom, May 26th, and play a match
game of ball. The challenge wits iccept
ed, and both parties were. on the ground

most of the worms; but it must ,be re
peated often, and after every rain, which
prevents a clean crop of ',fruit from being
