dictment, stealing hay of Dr. Thayer, The
jury, after being out a short tune, returned
a 'Verdict of not guilty:
The next case was• Commonwealth • vs.
'Tilman,on an indictment for larceny, the
prosit;cntor being, a Mr. Lewis of Bing
hamton. - The trial occupied- nearly two
days. The jury were sent
