NEW DOS POWER!
4. GREAT INVENTION :
Patented June 15th, 1M by
A. G. NEWSII, Great Bead, Pa.
wE recommend this POWER. to all those
who-have Churning to do, as being em.
inently adapted to their Wants. It is simple and
efficient, requiring less weight to operate it than
any other power used for a !limiter purpose. 'lt
Is-cheap, and at the im.me time permanent. Its
ccitratructioi is so perfectly adapted to the.work
it has to do, iVarit is-impossible to got it out of
order.
At the Susquehanna County Agricultfiral Fair,
held at_Montrose, Sept. aOth. 1858, it appears
from the following report of the Committee on
Farm Implements Addison G. Itrnsh's Dog Pow
er took the FMST PIZESIIOI, Here is what the
Committee says-:
"They hive been much pleased in the examin
ation-of Addison Brush's newly invented Dog
Power for Churning; combining, as they believe,
more poster with less friction, at less expense
than any machine that has yet_come under their
observation. The ease with'which it can be con
structed or repaired, and the power indefinitely
increased, is a recommendation that cannot be
extended to the endless chain or roller—its sim
plicity is truly a remarkable feature, and a dairy
man has only to acquire the ordinary ability to
use a saw, to make a mortice and tenon, oncl he
has ono of these machines within himself. When
we consider the drudgery from which a farmer's
wife Is relieved by these-achievements of skill
and genius, they cannot avoid feeling grateful
for every effort that may bo made' for such a
desirable result. They award him the preruiutn

ABEL CASSIDY, `'"liblitee•
The above indorsement is a sufficient guaran
tee that this Invention is not one of those worth
less patents whiCii have gulled the people so ex
teneively.
Any one wishing, to purchase town or eour.ty,
or individual right, can now be accommodated.
We invite those who arc interested in improving
and cheapening farm implements to give. us a
call and eNnolioe Our D o g Powei. We offer
such inducements that those vt-hp engage in thti
business are not ‘ only sure toinako money them
selves, but prove a bieasiag, to every one who
has churning to do whom they furnish with ono
of these time and labor easing Powers , .
