CONSUMPTION, and all diseases Of 'the
LUNGS and .THROAT' are positively curable
by INHALATION, 'which conveys the remedies
to the ceivitiesin the lungs through the air passa

neutralizes the tubercular rnetteir,al lays the Cough
causes a free and, easy- exp, octeration, heals the

to the- nervous system, giving: that energy so
indispensable fungi() restoration of the health.
To •be able to state con tidently.that Consumption
is curable by Inhalation, is to me a source 'gun
alloyed pleasure. It is as much under the control
of medical treatment as any other formidable dis.
ease; 90 out of 100 uses can be cured in the Ist
statres, and.so pr et. in the 2nd: but in the 3rd
stare it is impossible to save more than 5 pr et.,
for the lungs are so cut up by the disease as to
bid defiance to medical skill. Even, however, in
the last stages, INHALATION affords relief to
the suffering attending this fearful scourge, wki :11
annually destroys 95,000 persons in lb elJ.S.alone.
:ind a correct calculation shows that of the present
population of the earth, 80,000,000 arc destined
to fill the consumptive's graves.
Truly the quiver - of death has no arrow so fa
tal as Consumption. In all ages it ha-s-bc'en the
great enemy of life. for it spares neither age nor
sex, butsweeps off alike the bravethe beautlful,
graceful and"gifted. By the help Of the Su
preme Being from whom - corneal every goad. and
perfect gift, I am enabled-toloffer to the afflicted
.a permanent and speedy cure In Consumption. .
The first causeed tubercles is from impure blood,
and the immediate effect produced by their dep
osition in the lunge is to prevent, the free admis
sion of air intothe nir eel le, which CAUSCS a weak
ened vitality thro' the entire system. Then sure
ly it is more rational to expect greater; flood from
medicines entering* the eavitiesof the lungs than
from those administered through thel storm:eh :
the patient will always find the lungs free and
the breathing easy, after inhaling the remedies.
Thus. Inhalation Is a local remedy, nevertheless
it acts constitutional iy, and with more pa.wer and
certainty than remedies administered through the

be immediately detected in the blood. A convi a
:ins* proof et the constitutim l ial effects of inhlla

by breathing - foul r.ir—is notihis positive evidence
that proper remedies, , carefully prepared and in
dieiously administered through the lungs should
produce the li.ppiest result? During 18 years
practice. many thousands suffering from diseases
of the. lungs and throet, have been tinder my care,
anti I hate effected many remarkable curc9, even
after the suill.rers had been pronounced in the
last stages, which fully satisfies me that Con
sumptijn ispo longer a fatal eliscaSe. My treat
meat of Consumption is original, and founded
on long experience and n thorour , h investigation.
My perfect acquaintance with the nature of tu.
bereles, etc., enables me to distinguish, readily,
the rations forms of disease that simulate' Con
sumption, and apply the proeer remedies, rarely
helm* mistaken even it a single ease. This fam
iliarity, in connection with certain Pathological
esd microscopic discoveries, enables me to relieve
the lungs from the effects of contracted chests,
to enlarge the chest, purify the blood, impart to
it renewed vitality, giving energy and tone to the
entire system.
