The Reindeer left this city at 7 o'clock yes
terday morning, under the command of Capt.
a W. Farnham; for Albany, to make the usu.

gers, and was passed at Poughkeepsie by the
gamer Francis Skiddy, which left Albany for
Now York on the same morning.: Soon after
she reached Bristol landing, about forty miles
this side of Albany, and two miles from Sau
gerties, her boiler exploded, instantly killing

Air. James A. W7lliamson, one of tho own
ers of the Reindeer, yesterday received three

of the said boat, as follows :

Mr. Williamson and family scalded." I

Willimash received of the accident, and of
his brother and family being among the in
jured.
At fire o'clock Mr. Williamson received a
second despatch, as follows:

wishes you to come up immediately, or send
some one.
At six o'clock the third despatch was receiv.=

cer of an election, or by three qualified elect
ors thereof, to clear tiny window 'or avenue to
any window of the place of General Election,

prevent voters from approaching the same t
and it shall be the duty of the respective Con
