CASE OF MALPRACTICE,
All the Teeth of the Upper Jaw
Worst out In Extracting a Molar.;
r i m. IE , a Dentist of considerable distinc

,called at my office a few days since,, and
while eidmining a set of new instramezits recently
brought with me from Dental College, took up the
" Universal Molar Forcep," for the " Superior Maxil
lary," and expressing his admiration of it turned to
several gentlemen in the room and inquired' if some
one of them hadn't a tooth hr wished - extracted, that,
)1e might try the instrument One of them , replied
that he had, and took the chair. :Now the Doctor is
a man of powerful phrsiqup, and seizing the tooth
without even the usual ceremony of " cutting round,"
L he gave it an unmerciful twist, when oh ! frightful ! out
came the entire upper jaw, teetiffpurns end ell. -The
heart rending horrors of the F-cene that followed I
shall not attempt to.deseribe. The.yells, the screams,
the convulsive leap. in frantic agony, of the poor , suf.
fever, were enough, to pluck - the heart out-of a decent
man, and cause the gravel stones in the gizzard of
the miserly Shylock to shake liken boz. But
before your hearts go quite to smash my friends, just
let me ease you a little, by stating that both the teeth
and gums in this case were Artificial, but so very
natural in their appearance, that 'even. the Doctor's
practiced eye failed to detect them, and hence- the
i?-catastrophe.. Bfit please bear in mind that this de

Dentures, except the
" Improved Ifilneral Plate,"
in which the teeth and plate are lone solid piece,
carved and colored. in so eiactimitation of nature as
to render it bard to belicvq that they can be Artific

times accused by thOse who have looked at them, of
" . scaljling" ivame mouths while in the city, and more
cruel than even the Sioux, I have brought' away not
only the flesh but the Lone. Those wanting teeth
are invited to call - and examine Specimens. They
