An intoxicated man, name un

went forward expecting to find bim

a corpse. He bad fal'on but fortu
nately lodged on ono of tbo cap
pioces crostjing the uprights which
support the track structure, where
the mon presently discovered bim.
Had ho squatted close in this posi
tion the train might bavo passed
over bim and nt toncbod bim, but
that would be nnlike a drunken man,
who is generally caroloss of danger,
and tho likelihood in be would have
met his fate. Ou tho other bund
