enacted by the authority of the same.
That at the first meeting of the town
councils of tho several ISorongha Of
this Commonwealth clnntod on the
third Tuesday of February, eighteen
hundred and sovonty-soven, the
members thereof shall select two of
their nnmber, who shall serve for the
term of throo years, and two who
shall serve fur the term of two ytai s.
and two to sorvo for tho term of
one year, an ! nntil their successors
are duly clretod find qualified.
8ra 2. That at the municipal elec
tion to bo held in the yenr eighteen
hundred and seventy eight, annually
thereafter, the electors of tho several
