Kvkbt body seems inclinod to hold
fast to all the money they can get hold
of, and not disburse it any faster than
they can possibly liolp. This only
makes time the tighter, and affects

that the lea money there is in circula

What ahall be done with tho large
tipple crop? is one of the questions
asked by thoso who have largo or
chards. Cidor barrels aro soarce, the
supply having, in consequence of the
failnre of tno apple crop for years, run
very low. Peopfo are not prepared to
make use of their superabundant fruit.
Yean ago apples were turned into 'op
pie jack by the wagon load. But the
machinery for making that liquid is
now wanting in this oouuty, even if the
sentiment nf the people permitted it to
be done. Honestly manufactured apple-jack
would not be so near a deadly
poison as the vile compounds, named
, Whiskies, now in general use.
