Ingersoli,.— The mem* hers of the bar will hold a meeting in the Supreme Court room at ono o’clock on Monday affernbon, to take action in reference to the death of the late Hon. Joseph R. Ingersoll. A Dangerous Man.—We notify tho public that & person residing in Brooklyn, N. Y., is practicing a dangerous innovation, and if steps are not taken to slop his career, it will overthrow time-honored princi ples and institutions. We refer to Dr, Wolcott, who has an office at No! ITO Chatham fcquafe, N. Y.,622 Arch street, Philadelphia, 36 Winter street. Boston, 184 Vine streot, Ciucinna 1, Ohio, and tho, probability is that he will have a Ann rooting established in all the principal cities in the United States and elsewhere. At all of the nboyo places he removes physical pain of any name or nature, free of cost for everybody, with a liquid preparation he calls Pain Paint, applied to the surface of tho limbs or body with a brash. Although the re- , medy appears to be harmless as water; certainly leaves no stain, and peoplo wt o have had-an application say thatrhe sensation produced isdelightfbl, ana invigorates ihemwondcrfnlly.allayingevery manner of pain or. i nil animation instantly ;ana although It breaks up.vio lcnt fevers In a few minutes, yet thesystem he adopts is most damaging to all mannfactnrers of Pills, Lini ments, and varions other preparations which, were for merly used for tho same purpose. Bnt he supersedes ' and condemns all these old-established remedies, and insists that Pain Point stops the pain instantly, and does not cause moyc pain by its use. His methed of curing all who come, free of cost, brings to each of his different offices large crowds of people; who after an application of Pain Paint go and tell, all their friends and neighbors, and this, of course, brings more and morepatfentS; and thus does groat damage to, the regular profession. Patients- leave their physi cians and goto Dr. Wolcott’s office, Or rush to the nearest drug store and purchase a bottle of Pain Paint, instead of Pills of other Liniments. Druggists admit that they sell twenty bottles of Wolcott’s Pain Paint to ®ne bottle or box of any other remedy. Times are now doll, and It is very trying to sit down and quietly submit to a man so dangerous to all manufacturers of parent remedieß'and to the vast army of physicians. We propose, therefore, to havo printed in all news*, papers having a wide circulation that Wolcott’s Pain Paint will kill everybody who btiys it. belfdefcnce is the first law of natnre; and although the free sys tem of enring everybody, adopted by'Drg Wolcott, innv be of tho greatest good to the masses, yet it is dca'ihtons who, manufacture Pills and Liniments. Hoping a response may be unanimous for calling a meeting to raise funds to carry out the project and crush Pain Paint, our motto shall be, “Revenge Rale Rivals.” RAMPAGE & CO. N.
