NEW PUBLICATIONS
: Z :y Gustave Amara, -
thor of the Prairie Flower.
THE RED TRACK. By Gustave Aimard, au
thor of the "Prairie Flower," "The Indian
Scout," "The Trail Huntex," etc., is published
this day by T. B. Peterson & Brothers, 306 Chest
nut street, Philadelphia, and is for sale by all
Booksellers and Hews Agents everywhere, com
plete in one large octavo volume, large type, dou
ble column, and printed on the finest and best of
white paper. Price Fifty cents a copy.
NOTlOE.—Gustave Aimard was the adopted
son of one of the most powerful Indian tribes, with
whom he lived for more than fifteen years, in the
heart of the prairies, sharing their dangers and
their combats and accompanying them ever
where, rifle in one hand and tomahawk in th y e
other. In turn squatter, hunter, trapper, war
rior, Gambusino, or miner, Gustave Aimard has
traversed America from the highest peaks of the
Cordilleras to the ocean shores, living from hand
to mouth, happy for the day, careless of the mor
row. Hence ft is that Gustave Aimard does not
write romances, but describes his own life. The
Indians of whom he speaks he has known—the
Manners he depicts were his own.
O' All of Gustave Aimard' El other works are in
press by us, and one book a month will be pub

DANVILLE, Pa., June 2, 1864. -
Dr. Wm. H. Gregg. Dear Sir: In February,
1861, I was afflicted with sugar diabetes, and for
five months rpassed more than two gallons of
water in twenty-four hourh. I was obliged to get
up as often as ten or twelve times during the night,
and in five months I lost about fifty pounds in
weight. During the menth of July, 1861, I pro
cured two bottles of Constitution Water, and in
two days after using it I experienced relief, and
after taking two bottles I was entirely cured; soon
after regaining my usual good health.
Yours truly, J. V. L. DEWITT.

Wm. H. Gregg & Co. —Gents--.I freely give you
liberty to make use of the following Certificate of
the value of Constitntion.Water, which I can re
commend in the highest manner:
My wife was attacked with pain in the
shoulders,- whole length of the back, and in her
limbs; with Palpitation of the heart and irritation
of the Bladder. I called a physician, who at
tended her three mouths, when he left her worse
than he had found her. I then employed one of
the best physicians I could find. who attended her
for about nine months, and while she was under
nis care she lid not suffer quite as much pain.
He finally gave her up and said, her case toes in
curable. . "For, " said he,, "she has I such
a combination of complaints, that medicine given for
one operates against some other of her difficulties."
About this time she commenced the use of the
CONSTITUTION WATER, and,to our utter astonish
ment, almost the first dose seemed to have the de
sired effect, and sbe * kept on improving rapidly
under its treatment, and now superintends entirely
her domestic affairs. She has not taken any of the
CONSTITUTION WATffn for about four weeks, and
we are happy to' say that it has produced a perma
nent cure. WM.M. VAN BENSCHOTEN.
WETITERSIMILD, Conn., March 2, 1163.
Dr. W. H. Gregg—Dear Sir—Raving seen your
advertisement of Constitution Water," recom
mended for inflammation of the Kidneys and Irri
tation of the Bladder, having suffered for the past
three yeare,'and tried skill of s number of phy
sicians with' only temporary relief, I was induced
to try your medicine. I procured one bottle from
your agents at_llartford, Messrs. Lee, Sisson is
Co., and when I had used half of it, to my sur
prise I found a great change in my health. I have
used two bOttles of it, and am wha - e I never ex
pected to be in my life, well, and in good spirits.
I cannot express my gratitude for it; I feel that it
is all and more than you recommend it to be. May
the blessing of God ever attend you in your labors
of love. Yours, truly,_
LEONARD S. BIGELOW.
