Labor is not oniy enormously high, but unusually scarce, and much difficulty isexpenenced in getting sufficient men to keep a fnll working force employed. The excava tiops on the river end has already reached the re ™sy lva nia Avenue extension to Fifth street, and the men will commence tunneling under Boss street in a short time from now. On the Grant street end the work is also well advanced. It is a big undertaking, and, judging from the character of the work already done, it will, when completed, be one of the most complete and substantial jobs of the kind in the country ihe tunnel, our readers are aware, is intended to connect the Steubenville road with the Penn sylvania road, but it is understood that by pay mg for the priviiege the Connelsville railroad, should it desire it, may also have the use of it in connecting with the Western roads. I am happy to add my testimony to' the great value of the “London Hair Color Restorer,’ three bottles of which restored my Hair, which was very gray, to its original dark color, and the hue appears to be permanent; I am satisfied that -he preparation is nothing like a dye, bnt operates upon the secretions. It is also a beautiful Hair dressing. I purchased the first bottle from Mr. Garrignes, Druggist, Tenth and Coates streets, who can also testify my hair was very gray, when I commenced its use. MRS.
