In 1861, Mr. Pratber aod Mr. Thomas H.
DuDcati, both of Plumer, were tbe lucky
purchasers of tbe femout Holmdan (arm, on
Pltbole Creek, upon which wai (truck tbe
celebrated United States, Pool, Grant, and
finer flowing Weill of great notoriety
These gentlemen amassed prinealy fortunes

cago company for tbe fabulous sum of one
