sea reported by tbe Atlantic cable as having
been discovered by one of the German ex

now employed in tbe arduous work of reach

It appears thnt at the preseut time there are

German expedition.
Adroitly Hit. A presiding elder of tbe
Uniied Bretbern Church, while preaching,
was much annoyed by persons talking and
laughing. He 'paused, looked at the dis
turbers, and laid: "I am always airald to
rsprova those whofmisbehave in church. In
tbe early part of my miniatry I made a great
mistake. As I waa preaching, a young man
who sat just before roe.was conslDtly, lsugti
ing, talking and making uncouth grimaces,
paused and admin inhered a severe rebuke.
Iter tbe close of the service one of tbe of
ficial members came and said to me.
'Brother , you made a great mistake.
Tbat young man whom you reproved is an
idiot." Since then I have always been alraid
to reprove those who misbehave In church
lest jl should repeat that mistake, and reprove
another idiot. During tbe rest of service,
at least, there waa good order.
