The Dalzell, A. Boyd, Sam. Boyd,

The total iversge of tbe several farms aod
tracts as given In our table shows a dally
prductloo of 1,780 barrels, a decrease of
63 barrels since tbe March report.
As we predicted in onr March, report de
veloplog.was quite lively during tbe month
ol April and promises, to be more is during
tbe present month. On the Brown farm,
Lake farm and Metropolitan tract, Cherry
tree Run, a large number of leases have
been taken and wells are to be put down at
once, drilling having eonunecoed on several
already. On the Cornen farm four new
wells are to be started at once. Leases are
also being taken on tbe Buobanan farta.

from Charles Reade's oelebrated nove,, en
titled, '-Never Too Late to Mend." Tbe
play was brought out In excellent shape.
Among tbe characters deserving of special
mention, and who acted out their parts In a
highly creditable manner, were those of Mr.
J. W. Carner as Peter Crawley; Mr. S. K
Chester as Tom. Robinson; Mr. Jordao as
Meadows; Mr. Jermoo as Isaac Levi, and
Miss Virginia Howard as Susan Merlon.
The piece Is a good one and was brought
out iu a very effective manner, eliciting fre
quent and besrty applause from those pres
ent.
This evening will be produced tbe cele
brated legeudury drama of 'Rip-Vao-WIn
kle; or, Tbe Sleep of Twenty Years," Mr.
J. W. Carner appearing as Kip Van Win
kle; Mr. Chester as Ilendrick Veddor; Miss

living Rhinoceros, or Uuicoro of Holy Writ,
