Saturday night a tire destroyed the exten
sive grain and produce forwarding liouan
corner of Druad and Cherry atreets. The
content, on the first floor was flour feed ami
hots, and on the third floor whisky.

mated at a quarter of a million.

A largo building on Union street, belong
ing to James Gould and used as a car facto
ry, was crushed by the snow this morning.
The building ig completely wrecked and the
content, pretty mucb demolished. No ene
