On Friday evening the Concert given by the Venango County Musical Association for the' benefit of tbe Catholic Fair, was tbe mart decided, success of any they have given this season. The audience was Intel ligent, refined, and appreciative, and the kali was literally crowded. Tbe opening chorus, "Sleighing Glee," with bell accompaniment, was handled with much spirit. Tbe solo, "I would be a soldier," was' sung by Capt. W. H. Colling, with kia hab itual good taste. The duett, "Ave Sanolissima," we never keard sung more sweetly than on this oc casion, by Mrs. E. S.
