And In bath these cases It is thought likely that

there can be no apprehension of the former re•

Speech of Gen. Cameron to the Colored
Troops.
There was a grand review of the colored
troops at Harrisburg, on Tuesday, and, contra
ry to what might have been expected of that
place, the colored soldiers were not molested
or even Insulted. It is not therefore impossi
ble for good to come out of Nezereth. As the
line was passing the residence of General Cam
eron the men were halted, and the general made
them a short speech from which we take the
-following; "I never doubted that the people of
African descent would play a great part in this
struggle. and I am erond to nay that all my an
ticipations have been more than realized. Your
cervices offered In the early part of the war,
were refasedt but when the struggle became one
of life and death, then the country gladly re
ceived yen. Thank God you nobly redeemed
all you promised."
"Like all other men, ;you litre your deatlnics
In your own hands, and If von continue to con
duct yourselves hereafter as you hare In this
struggle, you will have all the rights you ask
for, all the rights that belong to human beings.
I can only ray again that I thank you; I thank
you from my heart for ell that you have done
for your country, and I know the country will
hold yon gratetni remembrance.
"I cannot cloee without saying that there to at
the head of the National Government a great
man, who is able and determined to deal justly
with all. I knew That with his approval, no
that was in rebellion will be allowed to re'
turn to the benefits of the Ucion, without-4ov
