In the ease of George Grant, charged with the
larceny of eighteen dollars from Jolla Lawson
(the parties both colored), the jury rendered a
verdlel of not guilty.
Hugh Slattery, convicted of the robbery of a
pocket hook containing CVO and valuable papers,
elluiroccount or which we gave in our report of
the morning et 681013, was brought leto Courtand
sentenced to three years Imprisonment in the
Pealtentiary.
Llukhorn and John Wilson were arraigned
on a cheap of robbery, p - eferred by John Roe.
The defendants are charged with burglarionsly
entering plaintiff's house on the evening of the
25th of June, and stealing a /diver watch and a
quantity of bread and butter.
The evidence to pearly circumstancial. None
of the family were In the house at the time of
the robbery, which was first discovered by Mrs.

Sterrett and 'Brown.

Graham, charged with assault and battery, ea
oath of Duncan Barker. The parties are mill
hands, and had been working together In Alio,

to the eharge, and was se.ntezteed to pal a ganef

license, to Tarenttun. The defense showed that
