little dull,— and the most noticeable fea
ture Is that the goer excitement has almost en•
[hely subsided. In prices, there have been no re.
markable change, though the tendency, as a genet.

GRAlN—Wheat is steady and fairly active, but
without quotable change. Sale of 8 cars No 2 To
ledo at 61,84; and I ear extra Chicago Winter at
411,04. Oat. scarce and firm with a fair local de
mend. Small sale. from store at 09. Oom firm
but unchanged; .ale of 200 bush prime shelled at

FLOUR—Oontlnues Unsettled and dull, with a

PITTSBURGH PETROLEUM MARKET

The market for Crude hew been dull and neg
lected throughout the put week, and, while there
hew been no marked change in prices, the tandem* ,
at present, le toward lower figures. Light gran
dee may be quoted at 19,720, and heavy gravities
at 204g21;fltd as a general thing,both refiners and
shippets, prefer the heavy gravity at an advance
34(r/le per gallon. We note sales of In bbls at 2:1%;
100 at 'fili.t; 60 at 2055; and 600, in bulk, at M. Re
fined, in bond, Is quiet but firm, with considerable
inquiry, and brit comparatively few transactions,
and, as we have repeatedly stated within the
past few days, our refiner, are not disposed to
make concessions in order to effect operations.
Sale of 100 bbis "Globe," to be delivered on the
can here, at t 5 entsmnd inns bbiebrand not named
delivered in Philedelphla, on private terms.
No movement in Diaptha or Iteeldunm, in the ab

Teere bee been more activity in the market this
week for Petroleum Shams, • than for some time
put, and prices, generally are a traction better,
with more disposition to operate. The only no
ticeable change, however, was in Maple Shade,
which soldmp to 12, and then suddenly declined to
Cyr, a decline of IS per share, on account of the
giving out of the "Coquette" Well, which hes
since commenced to now again, and carried the
stock up t 144213. per sharp, from the lowest point.
The sales of this stock during the last few days
hare been very large. Dahell and and Caldwell
also improved, but McClintock tmproved, and sub
seguently fell aft fiagi% per Chu*. She whole
list closed steady and moderately active. The fob
lowing le a comparison of the prices realised to
day as compared with those of last Saturday :
