For current and ordinary expenses, se
follows: repairs and imprortment*, fuel,
and apparatus, forage, postage, telegrams,
stationary, trarsporiation, printinr, clerks,
miscellaneous and incidental expenses and
departments of instruction, forty-one thor

the thirtyfifth section of the aot entitled

after to prohibit the payment to enlisted
men employed at the Military Academy of
the extra-duty pay heretofore allowed by
law to enlisted men when employed stool

tinuously.

from and after the first day of July, eigh
teen lit:milted and sixty-three, the annual
pay of cadets at the Military Academy at
West Point shall be the same as that allow
ed to midshipmen at the Naval Academy,
and the amount neoesonry for that pur
.pose is hereby appropriated.
Sec. 4. 403 be , it further enacted, That
cadets found defeient at any examined n
shall not be,continted at the Military Aca
demy, or be re-appointed except upon the
recommendation of the Academic Board.
Sec. 5. And be a further enacted, This
no partof the money hereby appropriated
shall be applied to the support or pay of
airy cadets hereafter appotatetknot to con
formity with the express pravnuons of law
- regulating appeintmente of cadets at that
Academy.
