--Rebel invasion of /Garyload, etc.
We have already pubilahed Gen. hillrore

the following more detailed ateeunt from a
correspondent of the .Baltimore Lowe.' on,
which also embraces particulars of several
other interestlni matters connected with the
late movement of the rebels en the line of the
Upper Potomac):
Haw's'e FOAMY, June 14, 1803.
The zabelrald, or rather invadon, which has
been so long talked about, L becoming an
earnest fact, MI you already knew. It is dif
ficult, in the confusion and *ultimata pre
vailing here, to ascertain the real facts or to
separahathe true from the adore of Witt and
exaggerated reports flying about. There Is
no doubt, however, of the one great fact, that
a force ofAonslderable magnitude, under com
mand of Gen. Ewell, is in the valley, and
that the Nile's have conducted the movement
with their usual celerity and skill, and are
evidently determined upon a bold movement.

view of surrounding and besieging Gen. Mil

have numbered 16,000. _ The whole rebel force
engaged in the movement is thought to be
15,000 men. Gen. Milroy had strongly forti

Gen. Milroy prepared for the movement du

the head of - the retreating column fouled
Hallowtown, three miles from the ferry, and
couriers soon after announced that Gen. Mil

between 9,000 and 10,000 men, Safely in, and
that he tared *tarty the whole of hie guns
and trains. Thosein the works which °mild
