Grant has captured Haine's Bluff and
the entire works of Vicksburg, and a
large number of prisoners, and fifty-seven
pieces of ariillory. The battle is still
raging with every prospect of capturing
the entire force in Vicksburg. We hold
Jaokson, Black river bridge, and Haine's
Bluff. A report is being made up for
Washington.
