During the year, twelve public exami
nations were held, of which number, eight .
NCele held by Mr. lieeney and four by me.
Of the two hundred and fifty-four exam:
fined by me, I rejected twenty per cent.
Nr..Keeney visited one hundred and one
schools, traveled five hundred and eighty
and wrote one hundred and forty
official letters. I visited one hundred and
thirty , schools, traveled six hundred and
sixty-five miles, and wrote ono hundred
and seventy-twoliflicial letters.
