bright and intelligent child, the little fel.

Owing to the inclemency of the weath
er the attendance was not as large as ex
pected, but -those who did brave the
storm were amply.repaid fur their trou
ble by hearing . "music. melodious," and
long to be remembered ; lacking space
and time we can not as specificly, mention

Dr.Luosatto PRATT conducted the en
tertainmeut-in a manner highly credita

We arc certain we echo the sentiments of

would scarcely be accepted now. yet we
have so recently bid adieu to 1878 I hat,it
