The one was born July 2, 1867, and
the other March 4, 1869. These two girls ;
like Saul and Jonathan, were lovely and
pleasant 1u their lives, and in their death,

By invitation, Pomona Grange field its
regular session them last week. The
number of Patrons and. Matrons present
was very large, but the brethren and their
friends .were equal to-tlie emergency, and
all were most hospitably entertained.

acterized by unusual harmony and deco
rum; but as the proceedings will probably

"The train, which is , a favorite One on
the Lelngh, leaves Philadelphia at eight
o'clock in the morning, and being an all
day ride thro,trgh the most beautiful and

by travelers who on that account-desire
to see 'and view-as they run. The train
consisted of 'the locomotive -"Thomas

tbrongh struck a heavy wooden post;
which -tore the roof of tbo car, now the
•bottom; completely off; the body of the
car with wheels still in the air not sthp-
Ping for another 83 - feet. The other two
passenger cars tipped, over on their sides.
The bind trucks of he baggage car by
this time had got off, when the train was
stopped. All this tpok place in.less than
ten seconds. The engineer;, as aeon us
the first trucks' went off,. feeling the shock
and - comprehending the. situation at a
glance, immediately reversed .his engine
and applied the air brakes. The train
was stopped after it had run* its length
and a half, about 300 feet, and consider-
tiny that it was going between twenty-five
and thirty miles an hour, the stop was
quite sudden. •
" It was in the ear Which, while bottom- ,

verly lady, Mrs. KIIIIIY, was killed, being
