On Saturday, the 11th inst.-, tiro young
scamps, aged respeetively . l2 and 14 years,
being neighbors. and confidential friends,
and becoming somewhat tired of home
life, concluded to go out and "see the
world." The older lad wont to his.
father's chest, took out one hundred and
twenty dollars, went to the cowshed, and
diVided the' money with the other bay,
whereupon they both started for Michi
gan, by way of Monroe Boro'.
Arriving at Monroe, they concluded to
make some ;purchases, such as clothing,
revolver, gloves, and carnet-sack; and in
doing all thiS they elthibited so much
money that the merchant's suspicion wai

Was notified, and the Young Americas
Were invited to stay with him awhile be
fore going to .Michigan. Some good ad
vice, and la little reelection,, induced
the boys to disgorge both the .facts
and the . money. Their parents, living
about four miles distant, were duly in
formed of the whereabouts of the boys
during the evening, and in the morning
appeared and received tIIC little runaways
together with the money, from the hands
of Mr. Coor.u.krou. The boys were both
of reputable families, whose names were
