After appointing a reporter, the roll was call
ed and the elders. responded.. Hr.' Rayner, of
'Cartionditle, said the elders of his church had
appaintefi a special meetitig of the session to
dischts and pray over , tlitar work. They, had
alio adopted a system Mt,district prayer meet-.
logs to be conducted by the elders, eitner witu
or without the pastor.
In the meetings they discussed the nciatter
of family' visitation, 'but ho was free to confess
they bad no done their duty in this d.rection.
In chitich discipline they were lame. They
take regniar collections in. the old way with
which they are not satisfied. He begged the
