The reports from various Lodges show the
Order to be in a flourishing condition, and the
teMperanthe element of the:cothity determined
to pet forth every effort tolkohibit the sale of
intoxicating beverages. •
Committee on restitution's made partial. re
port as-follows.:
, llcsotral, That in refusing to give the courts
Omer to grant license to sell intoxicating liquor
to the'county of Bradford, by a large majority
the people have freed themselves from the sin
and responsibility of giving legal sanction to
' the traffic as a beverage.
I .
Resulted,. That as individuals, we will most
heartily co-operate with' the Bradford; County
\ Law Enforcing Association, in prosecuting and"
punishing all offenders against the laW relating
to the sale of intoxicating liquors, who clandes
tinely, continuo to traffic in defiance of the
plainly expressed wish of nearly two-thirds of
the men and nine-tenths of the women of the
county.
Resolced, That druggists who use blank pro
scriptions from physzczansfor authority to sell
liquor, or otherwise attempt to furnish liquor
to be used as a beverage, are guilty of conspir
acy to evade the law, and should bo punished
as violators of the law.

The first resolution *as adopted without de
into ; the second, after remarks by Kee re
and G. W. Griffis, and the third wit tout dis
cussion.

quest each Lodge to instruct its representatives
to the Grand Lodge to use their influence to
have the per capita tax to the Grand Lodge re
duced-to five cents, and that they gee endeav
or to have the dues to Grand Lodge on degrees
